Winbak Farms helps Hanover Charity

PRESS DATE: 8/21/2007
Winbak Farms has donated a breeding to Rustler Hanover for Charity Night Wednesday August 29th.
Hanover Raceway is excited to announce the latest donation to it's silent auction in support of the Kingston Family of Hanover. Wyatt and Kerrie Kingstons daughter Emma has been batting the blood disorder ITP for over 2 months in London Hospital.
The disorder causes her blood to clot, resulting in the need for constant blood transfusions. Hanover Raceway is holding a Driver's Challenge, and Silent and Penny auction on it's final Wednesday Race card with all the proceeds going to the Kingston Family.
GM Gord Dougan says the donation from Larry Drysdale of Winbak Farms will continue to be up for auction until after the Hanover Raceway Golf Tournament on Wednesday September 5th. Anyone interested in making a bid on the Rustler Hanover breeding can call Gord at Hanover Raceway to place their bid.
Rustler Hanover made close to a million dollars during his racing career including many stakes races, and has produced many fine offspring. The value of the breeding is 4500 dollars. So far 25 blanket sponsorships have been sold for Charity night, and several auction items have been donated for Wednesday August 29th.
